St. Patty's in da UP

I visited Rexx and Maria for the beginning part of spring break. It was fun to get away from Eau Claire for a while. We went out for St. Patty's, drank green beer, prank called Lelani, ate nachos, and passed out while trying to watch "Walk the Line".

Maria and I did a bunch of other fun stuff while I visited. We made crab rangoon, ate at the tea room, baked cookies, and watched the 5 hour A&E version of Pride and Prejudice. Yay vacation! I don't wanna go back to school. I'm so ready to be done.

Snow day!

Yay! I feel like a kid again! No school today because of SNOW! This is a gift...I think I'm going to try to get a bunch of my thesis data entered and do some other random chores I should be doing 'round here. I'm so excited...

Baby Got Back Part Deux

Matt took Lelani, Britt, and me to the classiest townie bar in all of Princeton this weekend- aka Buckhorn Bar. I was already ripped walking in the door because we had been partying at Matt's place beforehand. So, I had no qualms about marching in there...I didn't even notice all the people I knew in there right away. Anyway, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that there was karaoke going on AND "BABY GOT BACK" WAS ON THE PLAYLIST!!!!!!!!! Lelani and I got up there and tore the place apart...unless I was just drunkenly delusional. But I do recall that the dance floor was packed. I think we need to start a Sir-Mix-a-Lot cover band, Lelani. Or maybe we could just cover a bunch of early 90s cheesy rap, because what else does Sir-Mix-a-Lot sing? We need a clever name...one on par with Lez Zeppelin. Thoughts, anyone?

Inefficiency

For the first time in a while, my apartment is somewhat clean. I don't have all the crap all over the floor that's typically there. Maybe it's because I took the NASP exam over the weekend...I think it gave me an excuse to finally pick up a bunch of study papers and books I've had lying around. Hopefully I passed so I don't have to drag all that stuff out again. I won't find out for another 4 weeks what my score is. Isn't that stupid? How does it take 4 weeks to run a scantron form and tell me the results?

Should I marry a guy that lets this go on?

Justin hung this picture up in the living room of their new apartment. I don't really want a woman in her underwear up on the wall of the living room when I live there. Jake says it's not coming down. I think I should be allowed to hang up "naked chefs" like the ones in the old Mifflin Street apartment.

I'm just kidding...it doesn't really bother me...

Today Jake called and was able to reserve Olbrich Gardens for our wedding ceremony. Yay! Cross another thing off the list!
